Photos highlight Back-to-School Assembly
Junior Maia Cruz showcases her talent at the back to school assembly on Friday Sept. 9. Maia shared a traditional dance with our community in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month “It was nerve wracking to dance in front of such a large crowd, but it was honestly really fun”
At the back to school assembly, senior fall athletes play musical chairs. Senior cross country runner Wes Shipsey ended up taking the win. When it came down to three chairs cheerleader Sierra Dedmon was quick and kicked Makayla Carney out of the game. “I felt so bad for kicking her out, but I knew what had to be done.” Dedmon said.
