Fresh and Feisty

Marshmallows make memories. Seniors Emily Hegar, Mia Starr, Scarlett Thomas, Fiona Rose Thomas and Garrett Mackey roasted marshmallows at the senior retreat. After making s’mores seniors sang songs around the campfire one final time as a class. “It was fun seeing everyone connect and laugh together,” Fiona Rose Thomas said.

Week of May 22

As part of Día del Niño students from LSU organize a piñata party during lunch. On Friday, April 28, as part of the Rammy birthday celebration, senior Liomar Gonzalez took a big swing at the piñata.

Week of May 1

The student section brings energy at the quarterfinal playoff game against Jesuit on Nov. 11. Central won the game 23-20.

Week of Nov. 14

Junior Matix Carpenter gets a dry ball during the Nov. 4 playoff game against South Medford. The Rams won the rainy Friday night game at Hillsboro Stadium game 63-6.

Week of Nov. 7

Students in the yearbook and journalism classes traveled to University of Oregon on Nov. 2 to join high school students from 36 other schools across the state for Fall Media Day. This photo essay captured the spirit of the day, beginning with an early morning bus ride.

Week of Oct. 31

Ski team heads to state

Students in Entrepreneurship and ASL III and IV travel to PAH! The Deaf-owned restaurant gave students an opportunity to practice sign language and see a business plan centered in inclusion.
