Sophomore Rene Ramirez helps hang balloons by the schools main entrance. I had a lot of fun decorating, it is a close community and were all friends, Ramirez said. LSU wanted to do more this year after the pandemic made planning difficult. Its been really cool getting to decorate the school as well as share our culture with everyone, Ramirez said.

At the back to school assembly, senior fall athletes play musical chairs. Senior cross country runner Wes Shipsey ended up taking the win. When it came down to three chairs cheerleader Sierra Dedmon was quick and kicked Makayla Carney out of the game. “I felt so bad for kicking her out, but I knew what had to be done.” Dedmon said.
